The Story

Julie Anne Florist started back in 1981 under the ownership of Julie White who ran the business until 2000 in Tamworth’s Market Street, during that time the Florist gained a reputation for quality flowers and service which remains to this day. In1994, Julie Anne Florist won the United Kingdoms National Retail Florist of the Year Award, which they continue to strive in achieving again!

In 2000 Julie Anne Florist was bought by current owner Nicky who was a former Saturday girl of Julie Anne Florist, She had professionally trained for 4 years gaining levels 1, 2, 3 and level 4 in Professional Floristry at the top floristry school while competing 5 times in RHS Chelsea Flower show in London, Nicky has worked within top florist’s around the UK before returning to become the owner of Julie Anne Florist. The Florist shop has remained a supporter of local Tamworth charities, businesses and good causes over the 40 years and remains within the town centre at it’s iconic location besides the Peel Statue.

Julie Anne Florist has served Tamworth residents and the surrounding villages with their special days including weddings, funerals, birthdays, valentines, mothering Sunday, Christmas masterclasses, proms and the list goes on and hopefully for another 40 years!

In 2019 the Tamworth Florist updated it’s image and developed as a trademark with improved services and gift ranges with the introduction of new brands within it’s company under the new direction of Mathew & Nicky. Julie Anne Florist remains a family business with education and development the key to it’s future!

Julie Anne Florist is passionate about quality flowers and bringing happiness to it’s customers, it remains a gold Interflora member and supports local school/college students on work experience plus masterclasses and training to local people of Tamworth.
